Half-past-one

It's half past one now. I can't believe I am awake.

Oh well, sis is sick. Apparently she has upsetted her tummy by intaking kinder bueno's impulsively. Bad. Gah, and all that delicious dinner has gone down our toilet pipe. Poor her.

Moral of the night: To all heartbroken people who think they can just down as many chocolate bars as they please and still act cool and sad like how it happens on TV, you should slap yourself awake right now and stop wallowing in self pity while trying to look cool. It's stupid. The TV programmes are obvious liars, duh. Just go slit your wrists or something, your tummies have suffered enough.

And no, I'm not refering to my sister here. For god's sake she just bought a freaking Mac Pro today! She's like... hugging it every second! How can she be sad? I swear, if it weren't for the fact she has cirit-birit and the Mac needed charging, she would've hugged it to sleep and have good angelic dreams blessed by Morpheus himself.


And so, I'm here, right now, blogging about random crap that make absolutely no sense. Oh yes, on a brighter note, my GA set is complete!!!!!!! Okay, well, not complete as in the story has ended (hell no) but as in like I bought the twelfth book!!!! YAY!!!!!! And we managed to sell our Convent Chronicles newsletter efficiently and successfully! Yay!!! Well, though most of 4SC3 didn't get to buy, sorry!


Ah, and sickgirl is back.. I can sleep now. Sunway Leadership Camp in Sunway College JB itself tomorrow. G'night people.





P.S: I felt so bad when I couldn't help my sister..... She was about to faint and I was still sleeping until she tried calling me. Gah, 3 years of CMRC camp and four days in Youth Camp wasted. I suck.

Siblings

Aside from procrastinating and running away from the fate of completing that shitload of homework, I've been watching Brothers and Sisters (the 2006 American drama series).

And after watching only 3 episodes and 3/4 of the fopurth one, all I can say is, this is one hell of a drama. Note, pun intended, drama.

There are like, so many stuff going on... After one gets resolved another crisis appears. Wow. Right now, I cannot tell you how fortunate I am to have such a good, drama-is-lesser-than-that-show family.


But, it's still an awesome show. I like it, and hopefully, I'll get to finish that pile of stinky homework miraculously and sit down and continue watching Brothers and Sisters. You love drama? Well, I think this is the one true TV series for you, excluding desperate housewives. One look at the title and somehow it gives me (someone who has never seen the advertisement more than five times, much less the show) the feeling that things are a lot more stickier over there. In comparison, they make Brothers and Sisters look tame.

I switch on the computer, click on blogger, and start typing away.....

Been busy with KH, but in the end after spending so much time, I still wonder why the hell I'm stuck in Wonderland trying to find the Chesire Cat in order to defeat the final boss. It's only the second world, and there are so many worlds to move on to, the next being the Collesium in which I will have to battle Cloud. Hn.

The Gummi system sucks. The KH team definitely has to spice things up a bit for the Gummi ship. I hope to see improvement on the next few games I am about to play (if I have the time. It'd be a miracle if I get to finish KH and my mountain of homework together harmoniusly).

It's like revisiting my childhood, you know? Travelling to different Disney worlds. It reminds me of the time me and sis used to sit in front of the telly, arguing on which Disney tape (we didn't have VCD/DVD players until much later) to watch. She insisted on Beauty and the Beast, Snow White or The Little Mermaid, while I took sides with Cinderella or Chip and Dale. You get to see the plotlines twisted into different stories to suit the needs of the game. You'd probably think I'm childish, but for me, it's memories like these that make us feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

Finished the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Yay! Five books within a week (I think), a new record for the first time in many months and those yet to come. I heard Rick Riordan's starting on a second series that's due in fall, hope I get to buy it!!!!

I've been surfing the internet through my iPod touch lately, and it's quite cool. And I discovered I could actually pen my thoughts in the notes feature, something I'm glad about. This way, I don't have to worry about being unable to write segments of my ideas into my PC, I could just switch on my trusty iPod and start tapping the screen away. Teehee.


Sigh, homework. Sometimes, you just can't escape from reality.... It catches up with you, no matter what, and pulls you back to the ground.



My brother's PC sucks, he has no decent songs in store at all.

First experience

Yawn.


I can't believe I'm exhausted after trying out Kingdom Hearts for only one and a half world. Gah, it's so frustrating when I can't meet up with Donald and Goofy in Traverse Town. And in the end, I had to consult a walkthrough from the internet (yes, I am that hopeless).

And you know what's the best part? Realising that I've missed so many postcards and yummy stuff that I can obtain right before I wandered astray from the route I should've been following. Damn, no wonder I'm stuck.

But KH is definitely different from Tales of the Abyss. I don't know why, but my fingers keep on moving and pressing the X button when I'm about to enter a door like how it's supposed to be in Tales. In KH, all you have to do is just keep bumping into the door and you'll just enter automatically.

Different much?

I think I'd better start adapting myself to the KH gameplay system as fast as I can. They're so much different you know? Tales of the Abyss and Kingdom Hearts.


On the bright side, I'm glad I'm finally able to get the hell out of the miserable, pathetic state I was in and start moving on, going back to different districts to collect all the postcards and yummies I missed. Thank gods for walkthroughs (yeah, I know I'm pathetic relying on walkthroughs, stop rubbing it in).


Reading books is soooo much easier than playing RPG games, all you have to do is just imagine. But hey, where's the challenge in that? But I suppose it's not my place to say anything, as seeing I actually need saving from a walkthrough.


Hn. I have a sudden inspiration to continue writing. Yet, there is still so much to be done... DREADFUL HOMEWORK!!!!!!!!! GAAHH!!!!!

It should be more like 'Homework torture' week or something. Gah, stupid.

Watched Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief with ZW, KL and S on Wednesday. I know, it's reeeaaallly late to watch this, but everyone says it's nice, for some reason. So, on the eve of my secret, forbidden, didn't-tell-mum outing (SHHH!!!!), I tried to finish the book before I went for the movie.


It was...... errrrr....... very different. Yeah, the movie differed quite a lot from the movie, sad to say. Honestly, I like the book better, and I'm glad I read the book (3/4 quarters, I failed to finish it before the movie) first.

(RED ALERT!!!! SPOILERS BELOW!!!!!!!!!)

The movie didn't show Ares and his stupid scheme, instead they just straight away jumped to the Percy-Luke fight, which didn't really occur in the book. In the book, all that had just happened between Percy and Luke was just a small conversation that went wrong (Percy had only realised luke betrayed him at the end in this 'dawning' conversation) with scorpions attacking the poor guy. And note, percy is only 10-12-ish in the book, while in the movie we see 18-year-old Logan Lerman jumping around fighting monsters and stuff.

The movie is a bit fake and strained at first, but it gets better in a while. The movie isn't all that bad, they have funny moments of theirs too, like the time where they had just beheaded Medusa and were resting in some motel when some room service woman past by and saw Grover holding Medusa's head. It's not really hilarious when I say it, but in the movie, it was.

Plus, the romance part didn't really bloom until much later in the book series, while in the movie we already see a small part of it in the end. But anyways, this movie did spark my interest to finish the whole Percy jackson series, and I'm quite glad I've found something nice to read.


Haha. Okay, enough said. I want to see Kaiji and Alice in Wonderland. Gah, it never ends, does it?

Don't Look Back

I won't look back, bcause when I do, I only see the endless mistakes I've commited.

It's been a while since I went online, and tduring the absence of the internet I've been wanting to blog a little about stuff that's happening, but now that I've got to use the internet, my mind is full of crap and I'm stumped.

Darn.

Never mind, never mind, I shall console myself later. I'm debating on whether or not Ishould buy the Naruto manga series. I know I've said that the Naruto series is getting more and more boring than before, but the manga collection I store behind my desk somehow doesn't satisfy me anymore when I'm bored. I want to get my hands on Chobits, but I don't see the whole series ANYWHERE. Gah, they reprint Candy Candy but they don't reprint Chobits.

If I was god, I'd banish those publishers to the land of no return. But before I do that, I'll definitely order them to reprint those eight volumes of Chobits first. Hehe...


On another side, GA is being reprinted, something I am absolutely glad about. They've ppublished the first ten volumes, and now I'm just waiting for the 12th to appear and yes! My GA collection will be complete! I should treat myself to something nice when that day comes, probably McD (trash food, but I don't care) or some soft drink. Mmmm, I can see it! I can see the day!!!!

It's just a matter of time, that's all. And this, dear reader of this shitty blog, applies to everything.


Honestly, I regret not purchasing Ballad of a Shinigami light novel vol. 1 in Singapore that day. how many light novels do they actually sell here in JB (or the places I can access to easily without the aid of my parents)? Nadda, zilch, zero. You tell me a place where they sell light novels (like the Suzumiya Haruhi light novels) and I'll give a five ringgit tip just for that. but unfortuantely, you don't have to, because I am positively sure that there is no such place here. god, even the manga industry in JB sucks, I can't imagine them selling light novels in ordinary book shops like how Japan does.

Moving on, a group of Japanese students visited our school on Wednesday. Somehow, this gave me the urge to watch LOTS OF Korean drama series and learn broken Korean. Emphasis, broken Korean. Don't ask me why, I just figured if someday Koreans popped up in our school, it would definitely suck when I won't be able to communicate with them in Korean when they don't understand what the shit I'm saying (at least I know a bit of Japanese after watching years of anime).
