The Angst of being Poor

I finally have my hands on the latest movies of DC and Bleach. Also, I've managed to buy Ouran (again) after resisting its temptations for.......


Two days.



Yeah, I'm hopeless.



Sigh, but, yesterday has made me once again realize how sad being penniless can be. Wait, I think 'broke' might be a much suitable word. Mmmm...

I couldn't buy the fourth movie of Keroro (though my brother managed to get it though it's not original -.-) and I resisted the urge to buy the Suzumiya Haruhi manga series as well as Clannad and its sequel (sob, the package was quite good ya know: two series together with its OVA's and an Original Soundtrack as well as a figurine -although it was some unknown Dragonball Z guy- for only 49.90).


Excuse me for a moment because the following sentence will contain broken English verses (to put it poshly, colloquial English) the ah lian's in Malaysia and Singapore have been using (not that I don't use those "lah's" and "got meh's" and the "really ah's", but I just refrain from using it often when I'm writing. Wait, it's already bad enough that we're using it!!!! Gah!!).



DAMN CHEAP WEI. (Refer to the previous second paragraph if you're sidetracked, though I hope you're not.... If you are, I'll just tell you that you have an attention span of only TWO to THREE minutes. (how sad,too bad...)





I think these Singlish and Manglish (Malaysian English) phrases are starting to get to me... Oh dear. (Mental note to self: MUST BLEACH MY BRAIN AND READ MORE CLASSICS.)



But anyways, I shall count my blessings... At least I managed to get a really worthwhile DC movie that costed only... 16 bucks (crosses out 'only' after checking the price on the movie box). But it came along with an Original Soundtrack so yeah, it's good.




I won't dwell on blogging any longer right now, for that I have 25 more episodes of Ouran to rewatch and fall in love with Ootori Kyoya again (sigh, you have to admit, he's so cool!!! -Joins the KFC!!!!!- No! Not Kentucky Fried Chicken!!! It's 'Kyoya's Fan Club'!!!!).

Back On the Job

Yes people, it's my computer!! It's back on the job!!!! Hahahaha!!!! After all that moving and heaving to rescue it from the evil clutches of the store room, it is finally here!!! All connected and ready for 24/7 daily usage!!!


Oh em gee, I can't believe it... My computer is actually back! X3




But the hard part was with the wireless connection... As seeing that the brat got the modem, I had to settle down for the wireless so, the line right now sucks like shit. First I slotted in the wrong disc (which dad corrected me, thank you), then the line was so goddamned crappy that I had to wait for like, twenty minutes for it to be stable.


Bad wireless!!! BAD!!!!!!!!!!!



Ahem, ignore me. But anyways, I'm just really glad to have my computer back!!!!!!!!!! YESH!! Rejoice!!!!

Don't Stop Walking

When you see a car stopping almost like half a metre away from you or so, don't stop walking, just add on to the speed your legs can give you and look straight ahead.


Trust me, if you stop, the result is horrendous.




It has been a cold day today, so it doesn't hurt to be heartless. Sometimes, heartlessness saves you more than kindness itself does.

Oh yes, I forgot to add... Inuyasha is having another continuation, called Inuyasha: The Final Act!!!


OMG can you believe it?! After...... well... god knows how many years it has finally continued airing new episodes... I'm gonna buy them when they're out on stores! Bwahahaha...

Detetcive Conan: The Raven Chaser has finally been uploaded onto YouTube. Unfortunately, the subs are NOWHERE to be seen......... zzzzz....


Goodness people, when exactly are we gonna see the subs?! Gah.


Speaking of which, during the absence of me (I've been using that a lot lately...), a lot of information on my interests have been updated.


For one, the 13th movie of DC. Plus, there's a teaser trailer (17 seconds) for the next one, and it somehow stars an airship in the middle of nowhere in the sea....

Strange? Well, that is to be expected of DC I guess. After all, isn't this all about mysteries? *Insert mysterious, evil laugh*

But anyways, there has been an upgrade on the DC pairings. Hahaha, Kobayashi-sensei and Officer Shiratori!! Well, even though I don't like the guy (cuz' he's a sob) but still, don't you think the pairing's cute? Aww, Kobayashi-sensei even made the guy (who doesn't really deserve it) a bento!!! *Squeals*


Speaking of DC pairings, I just suddenly have this weird obsession over the Makoto/Sonoko pairing.... I just find them adorable. XD



GA has its own updates too!!! Yesh! Natsume and Mikan are finally together, yet, going to separate soon (the decision lies on the next chapter!!)..... Ruka is finally out of the picture, feeling the taste of rejection and bitterness of the remains of his unrequited love. Sad... but he belongs with someone else like Hotaru.




Next, BLEACH: FADE TO BLACK, I CALL YOUR NAME HAS BEEN RELEASED ON DVD!!! I AM SO GONNA GET MY HANDS ON THAT DVD!!!! Just wait for me DVD stores in JB, I am so gonna visit you guys to sapu all the updates I've been missing on lately.... bwahahahaha...

Naurto... GAARA HAS APPEARED IN THE LATEST CHAPTERS!!!!!!!!!! OMIGOSH OMIGOSH!!! AND HE CAN STILL MANIPULATE SAND!!!! BWAHAHAHA!!! I'm so proud of him. *Beams*

But, there are not much updates on the movies though... I bought Bonds, but the latest movie (I have no idea what the hell the movies are... They seem to get more and more boring....) has just been released in the cinemas in August so... guess I'll have to wait until next year to collect the DVD. (Yes people, I collect anime and manga. It's an expensive hobby but just wait until I've earned the big bucks......)



Okay, the following content contains childish moments that I advise you not to read. I'm just really frustrated (and puzzled) with it so I decided to vent it all out on Blogger.

I still remember the times back when I was still eleven, and I've just started on the journey on being an otaku (not sure if I consider myself one, but that term will just do for the next few years until I finally decide what I am).



And as you all know, newbies sometimes get addicted to the wrong stuff.


I was quite obsessed with Beyblade G-Rev at that time (I WAS A KID! SO SHUT UP) and its characters. The style of art is quite nice but the storyline, now that I look back, seems like something that young kids would fall for. Coughcoughcoughthat'smecoughcough.

But like everyone else, I got over it.



And recently, while watching the oh-so-famous Okto (a Singaporean Channel, for those of you people who don't know), I stumbled along an advertisement for an anime called D.I.C.E. And the main character strangely looks like Tala Ivanov from Beyblade.

I mean, c'mon!! Red hair, almost same hairstyle, hot-headed personality, and... err... what else... gimme a minute... oh yeah, blue-purplish orbs...



=.= Duh, wouldn't that be considered as plagiarism? And those 'Gild Suits' (got the term from Wikipedia) look like Transformers stuff... *frowns*


Wouldn't it be a bit too much to say that all those are coincidental? And judging by the date of release for these two anime (I always check that when I want to decide which is original), Beyblade was shown on air earlier than D.I.C.E........




But anyways, just forget about the whole copying thing. I wrote those to get it off my mind....

But in these two months, I shall enjoy and make the best of every single moment I can. I have so many stuff I want to do!!! Reading, writing, drawing.... computer...............................

Hmm, not sure whether I want to go to school tomorrow...... I really wanna use my old PC... It has all my old files and songs... (insert sob) and it feels nostalgic.


Exams? Hah, I don't wanna know. I shall indulge myself in ignorance for these two months until the end of December. Ignorance is a bliss, definitely so.


Anyways, stopping here. Shall come back tomorrow, blogging resumes as usual now that I'm EXAM-FREE (Insert evil laugh number two).
