F.R.E.E.D.O.M................ well, temporary, that is.

YESH!!!!!!! IT'S THE LONG-AWAITED, MOST WANTED, FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -insert gundam seed song-

YAY YAY YAY!!! Exams are over!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!! NOW!!!!!!!! GAMBLE!!!!! ALCOHOL!!!!!!!! BOOZE!!!!!!!!!!

...

just kidding. There's no way I'll be addicted to all those disgusting stuff. ewww...

But anyways, yes, the finals for this year is over. Rejoice people!!!!! I'm sooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And heck, I've even begged my parents to let me go to the Foon Yew 1 performance or whatever you call it. It was awesome, saw a lot of my old teachers, but sadly, didn't see any of my friends. OKay, I did see Jie Yu from 2A4 (previously 6B) when the ceremony had already came to an end but ah well.... I doubt anyone saw me too, as seeing that I'm such a short, dumb girl who carries her sling bag instead of slinging it over her shoulder. XD

I have LOTS and LOTS of stuff I wanna do!!!!! Read books, clean up my table, clean up my manga........... you name it. This is really gonna be a busy month.... Gotong-royong tomorrow, pesta permainan and class party (stuff your faces with pizza and McD people!!!!) next week, plus my horrendous, torturous PBSM camp, manga competition deadline for the whole of November, Outbound school at the start of December, holiday trips and most of all:

the dreadful, tedious, stupid, damned PMR............................... -DUN DUN DUN-

sigh... I think I'll clean up my table on Sunday, tomorrow's really a busy busy day....... argh...... Darn.

Nearly there

Three days down, two more to go. Yesh...

okay, I know I'm cheating by logging on but whatever. Couldn't care less. Well, maybe I do, but my PC is my life. On a side note.....

  • Obama has just won over US and became the first (is it?) African-American president of the US. wOw.

  • All the great story updates just love to find their way into my inbox when I'm in an exam-crisis here. Why can't they come like, a week before? So, I shall review sometime later after this hell is over.

  • I'm gonna flunk my Science paper. Totally forgot everything I've read earlier this afternoon. double shit

Shall post a list of to-do's right after everything's over. This is really a busy week for me. Wait, I think it's gonna be two whole weeks. I still have pesta and PBSM camp waiting for me next week. Argh....

Gotta go study Chinese now.... grrrrrrrrrrrr.......

The arrival of hellllllll

It's goodbye freedom to us secondary students in gov. schools in Malaysia (or is it just Johore?) are here.........

Darn it.

But on a brighter note, the second bleach movie is out in Malaysian stores now, yay!!!!!!!!! I just can't wait for movie three to be out!!!!!!!!

but considering that even though my mum went to PP to buy what my spoiled brother wanted and ignoring what I wanted just shows how important my needs are to them. Psh...... that's why I say people, when you want something done, do it yourself.

80th post: Christmas Concert @ Convent

Celebrating my 80th blogger post with.......... -drumrolls please-

The Christmas Concert at SMK Infant Jesus Convent!!!!

WOOO!!!!!!!!! CHEEEEEER!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!! JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol.

Anyways, I went early to school today, reached there around.... a quarter to nine. Yeah, something like that. Wondered around finding for Eli for a while, until I saw her coming down from St. Helen Square. We called Siok Zhao to confirm what time she was coming before sitting in the hall.

Then I guess we got bored and went to see Yolander's rehearsal in the Bilik Tayangan. It was really fun, and then Elyssa and co. entered to do their own rehearsal.

It was amazing.

After that, we went down to the hall and waited a while for the concert to start. Saw Siok Zhao, but before we could start chatting, Pn. Yeoh told us to sit down. -insert innocent grin- That was when things started to liven up.

So, so, so, so........ the agenda...........

1. Praise and worship.
Didn't do much their, just that we sang a few songs, I think. And that was when I saw Chia Yin walking up the stairs to the biolab but never came down. Had to run up all the way to the library to find her, Phew...

2.Message by Pn. Mary (former Convent headmistress)
Everyone screamed their lungs out, while Siok Zhao, Elly, Chia Yin, Sabreena and me and co almost went deaf. -.-; Basically, what Pn. Mary said was about Godly Love and stuff. It made sense, but as much asI hate to admit, I wasn't really into listening it. (I came to the Christmas Concert just for the performances XD)

3. Tambourine Dance
Finally!!! The first performance!!!! This dance was by the form 3's, who have just finished their PMR.

4. Special Children's Item
A group of really cute and schweeeeet (Cardcaptor!!! Nyaaa!!) kids with down syndrome or something performed on stage, with their teacher guiding them below stage. I must say, they were good. I think I saw them before in Sze Kai's Speech and Drama concert. (Lol, I've been to so many concerts. XD)

5. Gift Presentation
Pn. Tan (our current headmistress) giving away presents to the representative nun, the chairman of the PIBG yadda yadda yadda...

6. Ballet (modern)
I think the song was Rudolph the Red-Nose Raindeer. I forgot. It was quite nice.

7. Silent Night 7 Soldiers
Not bad. Lynette, Li Wen and co were great.

8.Mime (Form 3's)
This I like. This programme was the best of the entire concert. The song played was 'Everything' by Lifehouse (listening to it now!! KYAAAA!). It's about a girl being saved by Jesus from drugs, sex, money...... They did a great job on the entire thing!!!!!!! WOOT!!!!!!!!!! If only there was a replay.... sigh.

9. Performance (Convent Primary)
Nothing much to say. It was okay I guess.

10. Choir

11. Ballet (classical)

12. I Believe by the Form 2's
Yolander's group!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!! I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

13. Nativity Play
A retelling about the story of Jesus... It was really great. The funniest part was during the closing. A few form 1's were casted as the sheep in the manger and as the curtains closed, the shepherds or something like that were hauling them to the side of the hall. LOL!!!!

14. Grand Finale
Well, not really grand but it was okay.

Personally, I think this year's Christmas Concert was way better than last year's, especially the programmes. I loved the mime, and the Nativity Play. It was much more classical and stuff; last year's seemed so... unreal to put it nicely. No offence meant.

Great job on the whole Concert!!!! Dude!! The form 3's whipped it out just in 2/3 days!!!!!!!!! And it was better than last time's!!!!!! Awesome job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s: Happy Birthday to cousin Sze Jia!!!!!!!

I'm surpised I didn't bawl my eyes out..... :P

Gonna find my last year's paper to see if I actually improved.......... (or was it just plain luck I only had that little bit more???)

Khidmat Masyarakat

ONCE upon a time, in a far far away unknown land, I woke up early, got myself dressed in my PJ clothes, rode my mum's car to school, and went with my class and another class to the Rumah Sinar Harapan Kanak-kanak Jubli, Johor Bahru for our Sivik Khidmat Masyarakat project.

LOL.

Just kidding, once upon a time.... Bah! It just happened today for Pete's sake!

So, skipping the retelling of that 'perrrrrrfect' morning, we went for khidmat masyarakat. Well, it wasn't that bad, as seeing that we set off at half past eight or something like that. I was being emo and silent (like how Chia Yin described) on the bus, as seeing that there wasn't much to talk about, and just tried to put up a smile on my face when we reached there. But it was kinda hard, as seeing that it was scorching hot and our faces looked all scrunched up under the blarring nine/ten o'clock sun. Sigh......

I must say, I kinda... err... feel for those children. Some were even abandonned by their families after dumping them off in the place. It's really sad. Hell, they even wake up at half past five in the morning every day just to get a bath. Sigh.... it's really sad. Poor them...

But, it was quite tiring. I'm not really a morning person (I'm an owl, hoot hoot) so... yeah. I just tried to get the game along with my team and tried aiding Siok Zhao on helping those people to get up when they had to leave the game (Poison Box). There was this girl, which I find really talented and sweet despite her disability, who wanted water. Sabreena and me asked Pn. Aida about it while she just dismissed it and said not to care about her.

Ouch.

That was definitely harsh.

Imagine if you're thirsty, and you don't get water... How would you feel?

However, we just avoided the poor girl as there was nothing we could do about it.

Around 11.00 AM plus, we retreated back into prison, and I went for my Chinese Society AGM meeting & farewell party. They ordered 30 boxes of Domino's... Wow. But all I got was a cup of coke, a slice of pizza and a small, teeny-weeny portion of cheese cake while others (i.e those people who snatched or wanted extra pizza from jiating) went home with boxes of pizzas.

Just kidding. I'm fine with that, it's already enough, and I was glad that I even got to eat!! XD

Like the seniors said, they should have sold those pizzas for extra money. :P

But anyways, everything was fine. I started going into chit chat mode after entering class. our joy blew over the top when Pn. Letchumy didn't come into class, and we just copied the answers from the back of the Seni textbook. XP

Moral of the day: Kita mestilah bersyukur. We have a home, we have food, we have a normal-functioning system, we have all sorts of comfortable needs at home (eg PC, the telly et cetera), we have books, we have iPods the rich kids and bla bla bla, but most of all, we have a family, a family that loves us. :)
